Barnes & Noble Lino Demonstration – VIDEO

The B&N store on 71st St. in Tulsa was kind enough to allow me to hold my second book signing/lino printing demonstration on Saturday, Sept. 11 and it went just fine!

Several friends showed up and I even snagged a couple of new fans among the passing customers. Special big thanks to Vicki’s longtime friend Marty Sikes for handling the camera duties on the spur of the moment.

Nice space at the front where I could grab folks as they came in the door!

This six-minute video was cut down from a 24-minute talk and it’s surprising how much you can cut without feeling like you’re leaving out information. Of course you can still see the full length version on Facebook if you really need to!

I have no book signings or other events planned at the moment, as I’m focusing on my London trip. There will be 15 speakers there, and we’re all in contact by email, and those that can will be congregating and getting acquainted on the Friday night before the event. These will be folks traveling from all over the world, just to discuss Charles Dickens. I don’t have a sense of how large or grand the audience will be, but I’m wearing a suit for the first time in about ten years! Not much call for wearing suits in Oklahoma, especially if you’re retired.

It turns out that live-streaming on Facebook is pretty easy, so I will attempt to livestream my travels, though I have no idea about doing it from overseas once I’m there. I’m sure it will all be a learning process. I hope you’ll join me!
